We Care Residential provides quality care and services in a professional and ethical environment to adults 18yrs and older with an intellectual disability (ID) and are not ready for independent living. Intellectual Disability is also called a general learning disability and previously referred to as mental retardation. We Care Residential is a adult residential home or what many know it as adult group home, that supports the needs of the individuals as well as nurtures their individuality, encourages learning and self-development, and provides a safe and secure living environment. This home is for people who are eligible for a Medicaid waiver from a community services board as well as private funding.

We Care Residential develops and implements services that directly correlate with the needs of the individuals. We Care assists with daily living skills, housekeeping, money management, personal shopping, meal preparation, physical fitness, self-development, work skills and health & safety. Additional services are reviewed and revised as necessary in accordance with the needs of the individuals.

We Care Residential's Sterling Forest home is located in Richmond. You will find it in a cul-de-sac as well as walking distance to a park. The home gives a warm, inviting feel as soon as you pull up to the property. When at We Care, you and your loved one will feel at home.

We’re fortunate enough to be able to conduct our daily routines from showering to paying our bills. For many people, though, being able to do something so basic is incredibly difficult.

It’s important to us to be as clear about what we do as the way we implement services. We develop a plan to best fit the individual which will help us to truly give the most needed assistance in areas that require the most attention.
